Winemaking and Wine Tasting at WinePod in October
Discover the joy of winemaking with us as we offer our first ever WinePod Winemaking and Wine Tasting event at our corporate headquarters in South San Jose on Thursday, October 23rd at 7:00-9:00 pm.
The event will be led by Greg Snell, inventor of the WinePod.
You will begin a red wine fermentation in a WinePod using premium Napa Valley grapes, and see how easy it is to make great wine.
The winemaking event will include:
- Smelling and tasting the grapes, yeast, tannins and other additives prior to starting a fermentation.
- Loading the grapes into a WinePod and making the fermentation additions.
- Pitching the yeast and punching down the grapes.
- Pressing the wine must and transfering into an oak barrel.
- Wine tasting of red wines at various stages of aging.
